Stamp Out War:
Support Ukraine!

Our project started with a simple idea: to create something truly special and historically significant by combining stamps, postcards, and postmarks in a way that celebrates Ukraine and its people. And so, we began our journey by designing beautiful maximum cards (maxicards for short) featuring the blue and yellow colours of Ukraine's flag and a Ukraine support stamp, and asking people from around the world to add their own touch by getting a postmark on the 24th of August – Ukraine's national day.

What's a maxicard, you ask? It's a postcard that features a stamp and a postmark that are related to the same theme, creating a visually stunning and highly collectible item that's beloved by stamp collectors and history buffs alike. To invite people from countries which didn't issue a special Ukraine support stamp to participate, we found a creative way of substituting it with a stamp of sunflower / yellow flower to pay tribute to Ukraine as an independent, democratic nation. 

As our project grew and gained momentum on social media, we were overwhelmed by the outpouring of support and interest from people around the world. From Australia to Austria, from Canada to Croatia, from Japan to Spain, and beyond – people from over 50 countries have participated in our project, each adding their own stamp and postmark to our collection of maxicards.

And it's not just about the cards themselves – every single maxicard we create is auctioned off to raise money for Ukraine's relief efforts. So far, we've raised over $4000 (CAD), and we're just getting started. Our ultimate goal is to make a real difference in the lives of the people of Ukraine, and we can only do that with your help.
